Job Title:                      Inside Print Sales Representative

Department:               Sales               

Purpose of Job:           Market, promote, and sell printing/mailing products and services offered by Shearer.

Major Duties

Supportive of overall company goals and initiatives.

Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.

Guarantee satisfaction and value for our customers.

Increase sales revenue by managing current and potential accounts while trying to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.

Manage a database of current and potential customers and contact them regularly.

Prospecting new clients through research, marketing assistance, and cold calling to generate sales of print and mail products.

Work with our marketing team on lead generation campaigns, as needed.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Identify where clients need products and services we offer by understanding their specific needs.

Developing sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.

Maintain, and continually improve, working knowledge of the industry.

Coordinate with the production manager, as needed.

Maintain accurate records.

Maximize time to promote the sale of products and services.

Attend and participate in required sales and company meetings.

Attend and participate in required supplier meetings, as needed.

Achieve sales goals.

Develop and practice successful sales skills.

Skills Required

Previous sales experience encouraged.

Should be proficient in Microsoft Office® i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a high level of confidence.

Creative/critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems.

Bring positive energy to the job along with good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multitask.
