Network Field Service Technician

Job Description

The Network Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting and repairing office equipment (copiers, printers etc.) as well as complete network connectivity of equipment by installing and configuring printer and scanner software onto workstations/servers all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities

· Troubleshooting and repairing office equipment
· Complete the connectivity of equipment by installing printer and scanner software onto workstations/servers
· Troubleshoot all issues that arise during network installation, training and/or testing using all resources available to ensure complete client satisfaction
· Provide high quality technical/mechanical support to our customer base
· Deal with stressful situations while managing time and resources

Desired Skills/Qualifications

· Excellent communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people
· Aggressive problem solver
· Strong understanding of network applications, connectivity and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, routing, ports, WiFi)
· Good understanding of Windows server environment as well as some basic understanding of Mac OS environment
· Being able to develop options to solve unusual problems
